Child Safety Standards
Effective Date: March 6, 2026 · Last Updated: March 6, 2026
At Baduga Symphony, we are committed to maintaining a safe, secure, and respectful community. While our platform is exclusively designed for adults aged 18 and above within the Baduga community seeking matrimonial connections, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding the safety of children and the prevention of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
This document outlines our commitment, standards, and reporting mechanisms to ensure full compliance with global safety standards and Google Play's Child Safety policy.
1. Zero Tolerance Policy
Baduga Symphony strictly prohibits any content or behavior that exploits or abuses children. We have zero tolerance for:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Possession, distribution, or promotion of any material depicting child sexual abuse.
- Child Sexual Exploitation (CSAE): Any attempt to groom, solicit, or exploit children for sexual purposes.
- Inappropriate Content: Any content involving minors that is sexualized, harmful, or violates child safety laws.
2. Strict Age Requirements
Baduga Symphony is a matrimony app for adults. We enforce strict age controls:
- 18+ Only: Users must be at least 18 years old to register.
- ID Verification: Every user must submit a government-issued photo ID. Our admin team manually verifies these documents to ensure all users are of legal age.
- Account Removal: Any account found to be operated by a minor or misrepresenting age is immediately and permanently banned.
3. Reporting Mechanisms
We provide multiple channels for users to report safety concerns, including child safety:
- In-App Reporting: Users can report any profile or message directly within the app using the "Report" feature. Reports mentioning child safety are prioritized for immediate review.
- Direct Email: Safety concerns can be emailed directly to our safety team at support@badugasymphony.com.
- External Reporting: We comply with regional and national laws and report CSAM/CSAE to the appropriate authorities, including NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) and local law enforcement in India.
4. Prevention & Compliance
Our safety infrastructure is designed to proactively prevent child exploitation:
- Manual Review: All profile photos and content are manually reviewed by our admin team before being made visible to other users.
- Community Filtering: As a closed community platform for the Baduga people, our members act as a vigilant community that reports suspicious behavior.
- Global Standards: We adhere to the fundamental principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and equivalent international child safety standards.
5. Designated Point of Contact
As required by Google Play's Child Safety Standards, our designated point of contact for child safety compliance and prevention practices is:
Email: selectd.app@gmail.com
Role: Safety & Compliance Officer
Our designated contact is ready and able to speak regarding our app's child sexual abuse material (CSAM) prevention practices and overall safety compliance.
6. Legal Compliance
Baduga Symphony complies with all relevant child safety laws, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act in India and equivalent global regulations. We fulfill all mandatory reporting requirements to regional and national authorities.
