• Communication Data: Messages sent through our in-app chat feature.
• Payment Information: Subscription and transaction records processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store (we do not directly store credit card numbers).

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
• Usage Data: Features used, time spent on the app, interaction patterns, and crash reports.
• Location Data: Approximate location based on your IP address (we do not collect precise GPS location).

• Firebase Authentication: Phone number verification data from Google Firebase.
• Analytics Providers: Aggregated usage analytics from Firebase Analytics.

• Create and manage your account and profile on the platform.
• Verify your identity and ensure the authenticity of profiles.
• Match you with compatible profiles using our smart matching algorithm.
• Enable communication between matched users through secure in-app chat.

• Send important notifications about your account, matches, and interests.
• Improve our Service through analytics and usage pattern analysis.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.

3. How We Share Your Information

We take your privacy seriously. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With Other Users: Your profile information (name, photos, bio, and preferences) is visible to other verified members of the Baduga Symphony community. Blurred photos are shown to free-tier users.
• Service Providers: We work with trusted third-party services including Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, analytics), Apple and Google (payment processing), and RevenueCat (subscription management).
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, in response to a court order, or to protect the safety and rights of our users and the public.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• Encryption: All data in transit is encrypted using TLS/SSL protocols.
• Secure Storage: Data is stored on Google Firebase with enterprise-grade security infrastructure.
• Screenshot Protection: Profile detail screens have built-in screenshot protection to safeguard your photos and personal information.
• Access Control: Only authorized admin personnel can access verification documents and sensitive user data.
• Regular Audits: We regularly review our data collection, storage, and processing practices.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you our Service. Specifically:

• Profile Data: Retained while your account is active. Upon requesting account deletion, your data enters a 30-day grace period, after which it is permanently erased from our production databases. This ensures compliance with GDPR and Indian DPDPA requirements.
• Chat Messages: Retained for the duration of the conversation between matched users. Permanently deleted when either party deletes their account (after the grace period).
• Verification Documents: Identity proofs are used strictly for manual profile verification. All ID proof documents are permanently purged from our servers immediately upon successful verification or rejection of the profile.
• Analytics Data: Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: You can view and download your profile information at any time from within the app.
• Correction: You can update your profile information through the Edit Profile feature (subject to admin re-verification for certain fields).
• Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@badugasymphony.com.
• Restriction: You can request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
• Portability: You can request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our website uses minimal cookies and tracking technologies:

• Essential Cookies: Required for website functionality and authentication.
• Analytics Cookies: We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with our app and website. This data is aggregated and anonymized.

We do not use advertising cookies or share browsing data with third-party advertisers. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Baduga Symphony is intended for users aged 18 and above who are members of the Baduga community seeking matrimonial connections. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age.
